The Dos and Don'ts of a job interview (Technical presentation)
1. Do limit key points
Craft a main message. Pick the best two or three
points that support the claim. Then cover each
of those areas carefully, review the main
points and conclude with a "clincher",
which is a short statement designed to help the
audience remember the presentation.

Do focus on the visual
This boost audience recall, audience understanding of
important points. Visual aids should be clear,
easy to understand.

Do research
Must research their audience and then adapt their
presentation to the results. Also do research the
company's mission, values, and needs so that
he can tailor his presentation to portray himself
as a soution to the problem as well as a good fit
for the company culture.

Don't glaze over content
Carefully evaluate each visual aid and only
use it if it supports a key technical point.

Don't add vocal fillers
Too many vocal fillers such as "um", "like", and "er" can
erode an audience's confidence in the speaker.

Don't work until the last minute
Should carve out at least 24 hours to practice
the presentation and rest.
